It is through the script 'Salam Maveli', that Suresh Poduval announced his entry into the television media during the festive Onam occasion for Doordarshan in 1997. Casting Jagathy Sreekumar in double role, the director of the said tele film was Anil Banerjee, who is the brain behind 'Munshi' episodes in Asianet.

He scripted for Baiju Melila's tele film 'Kodachakram' for Asianet on another Onam occasion in 2007, again casting Jagathy Sreekumar in the lead role.

Mega Television serials scripted by Suresh Poduval

Suresh Poduval Scripted 'Aalippazham' (few episodes) for director Saji Surendran in 2005 for Surya TV. 'Sthree oru Santhwanam' for director Suresh Unnithan in the year 2006 for Asianet. He again partnered with Saji Surendran for Mega serial 'Daya' for Kairali TV in 2007, has received major awards from state government and Film Critics Association. He also wrote 'Malaghamaar' (few episodes) for the director G.S. Vijayan for Mazhavil Manorama in 2013.
