Documenting an art where there is no such authentic past study makes this work all the more significant. Niramala

Suresh Poduval directed his first devotional album ‘Niramala’ in 2010. Niramala is a fusion of folk art form called Payyanur Kolkali and the traditions of payyanur Sree Subrahmanya Swamy Temple. This temple is considered as the ‘Pazhani of North Kerala and the name Payyanur is orginated from Payyante Ooru, means the land of Sree Subrahmanya.
